Business Planning |
Is your equipment ready for the new season? Now's the time to make
sure that everything is ready for the coming busy events season. There's nothing worse
than turning up to an event and a piece of vital equipment fails at the busiest
time of day resulting in lost earnings or worse, stock being binned and having to close
up and go home.
|
Pre season check list Getting together a check list of items
is relatively easy, starting with priority legally required tests and certificates to
general servicing and vital repairs. 1. Legally required. Main equipment
test certificates are best organised to be carried out before and not during the
season. These may include gas and electricity, ride safety and unit or amusement construction
condition.
2. Essential equipment. Focus on equipment that keeps everything else
working and which are subject to sudden failure such as electricity generators
and
inflatable blowers, look at trailer jockey wheels and prop legs etc. 3. Working
equipment.
Make sure all day to day working equipment items have been fully serviced, cleaned and if
needed repairs are carried out. |
